When extended, the Window Awnings block out the sun’s rays and lower the interior temperature of your coach, reducing the strain on your air conditioning system. They also add extra privacy and protect your furniture, curtains, carpet, and appliances from sun damage. And while other companies offer awnings up to only 16 feet, Zip Dee Window Awnings are available in sizes from 3 to 21 feet thanks to our stronger springs and rollers.
Zip Dee Window Awnings have special features of their own such as travel latches for safety. Safety locks hold the Window Awning safely to the vehicle even during heavy winds, and they’re easy to operate.
Custom hardware is available to fit any vehicle shape or window layout. For tall windows, only Zip Dee gives you the option of extra-long fabric for complete coverage. Setup is as easy as pulling a tab – even if you have a basement storage RV with higher windows. Our Slideout Awnings offer the same quality and craftsmanship as our other awnings with the added convenience of weather protection.
The Slideout Awning automatically deploys when your slide room is extended, covering the top of the room. You may then pull the awning down and operate it as a standard window awning to offer shade whenever you need it.
Sizes range from 7 to 17 feet. As our other awnings, the Zip Dee Slideout Awnings are furnished with Sunbrella® fabrics with over 100 colors to choose from.
If you are only looking for protection from weather and do not need the added shade function of our Slideout Awning, then the Slide Topper is perfect for you!
The Slide Topper automatically deploys and retracts with your slide room, keeping debris off of the top of your slideout without the extra fabric and hardware needed to provide shade over the windows.
